October Eagle Group Meeting
Resume Workshop with Pete Lavelle from Rez-Builder
Please join us at the October 2018 Eagle Group of Minnesota Veterans Monthly meeting as we are joined by one of our very own, fellow veteran Pete Lavelle from Rez-Builder! After our great discussion last month with our Fall Recruiting Panel, it made sense to follow up this month with a résumé specific meeting to address the main source of questions during the panel – résumés. Peter is an amazing resource that understands how to help bring veteran value to the forefront so that you significantly improve your chance of getting considered for a role you desire. Peter will be educating the group on the right ways to develop your résumé in addition to addressing many of the “big-ticket” résumé questions that came up last month.
Please join us to learn from Peter and enjoy the camaraderie between veterans and veteran supporters!
Important Changes:
- you must pre-register by NOON on business Friday Oct 19
- upon arrival, sign-in at Cargill Security Bldg 9320
- free to veterans, dependents of veterans, Eagle Group advocates & volunteers
- all others: donations gratefully accepted, as funds for this program come from generous donors in support of Minnesota's veterans
- networking begins 5:30pm with food and beverage service (includes a splendid buffet presented by Cargill's in-house caterer, Sodexo)
- program begins promptly at 6:00pm
- networking continues with "Needs and Leads" upon conclusion of program (about 7:30pm)
We will be beginning our meeting promptly at 6:00 PM this month in order to clear the runway of announcements and passing of word, so we can afford YOU more time with this very special workshop.
We will also have Wi-Fi available in the venue so that you can work on your resume during the session. Feel free to bring your laptops!Please register below and join us to honor, learn, network and share in the great camaraderie that is unique among our veterans and their supporters!
