PGYB Navigator Program for Veterans
Project Got Your Back (PGYB) Join in our meeting this month to meet Paul Davis, U.S. Marine veteran, senior product manager with Boston Scientific and executive director of Project Got Your Back (PGYB).
Navigating the civilian world and workforce can be challenging for anyone, and especially, at times, for veterans of our Armed Forces. What many veterans don’t realize is that an ocean of resources is available to help. The unfortunate irony is that most organizations, programs, and companies designed to serve veterans can’t find enough veterans to help!
Did you know:
- All native-born Minnesota veterans who served in a combat zone are eligible to receive a no-questions-asked $500 check?
- Spouses and children of fallen service members or service members with a disability rating of 10% or higher are eligible for a $5,000 / per academic year higher-education scholarship?
- Some Minnesota Veterans can reduce their property tax value up to $300,000?
Dozens of other organizations – like Eagle Group – go out of their way to help veterans with everything from employment to recreation to human connection to VA navigation--and everything between.
Project Got Your Back’s Navigator Program pairs Veteran Clients with trained veteran volunteers for an entire year. During these 12 months, the Clients are navigated to the resources they need.
