Neil R. Wiley
Director of Analysis (DI) at DIA
Mr. Wiley has over 30 years of experience in the national security area both as a naval officer and as a civilian intelligence professional. He was appointed DIA’s Director for Analysis (DI) in August 2015. As DI he also serves as Functional Manager (FM) for the Defense Intelligence Enterprise (DIE), responsible for the alignment, quality, integrity, and analytic output for DIA, service intelligence centers, and combatant commands J2s. Mr. Wiley is also designated as the Analysis Career Field (ACF) Manager. Before DIA Mr. Wiley served in the U.S. Navy from 1983 to 2003 and at the EUCOM Joint Analysis Center (JAC) in Molesworth, UK from 2003 to 2012. Besides numerous U.S. awards he has also been awarded the Order of British Empire (OBE). A native of Baltimore, Mr. Wiley attended the University of Maryland earning degrees in Biology and Ancient History and Classical Languages.
