Peter Tsouras will discuss George Sharpe
and the Origins of Military Intelligence
Peter Tsouras was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. He earned a BA in Russian/Soviet history at the University of Utah. Commissioned in 1970 as an armor officer in the U.S. Army, he served in Germany with the 1/64 Armor, 2nd Bde, 3ID. “Once a Marneman, Always a Marneman!” After the Army he attended Georgetown’s Russian Area Studies and worked as a senior analyst for the U.S. Army Intelligence and Threat Analysis Center (ITAC)/NGIC and ultimately retired from DIA. He also retired from the Army reserve as a lieutenant colonel. Pete is also an author of military History and alternate military history with 32 books to his credit. He lives with his wife (Patty) of 45 years in Alexandria and delight in their three children and four grandchildren.
