Sisters,

It is that time of year again to attend Convention for 2018 on August 3rd-5th! Our 20th Anniversary!!! There will be awesome speakers, workshops, and many more that you can take back with you as an undergrad and alum! This can benefit you while in college and for your careers.

This year's convention will be where our Sorority was first founded, Athens, Georgia! Our meetings will be located on campus at the University of Georgia, which is walking distance from downtown, the popular UGA Arch, shops, nightlife, and many more!  You will get to view and experience the fun atmosphere of Athens. In addition, we will be having another year of the Stroll Competition, which was a huge success last year!

Sisters will also receive gifts, have meals included, and enjoy our yearly banquet! This year's banquet will be different where regional formals will be combined. This means banquet will be more fun and will include dancing! :) You can also bring a date! Meals will include Breakfasts, 3 Lunches, and the Banquet Dinner. Alums, you will have a sisterhood brunch!

Transportation
As you may know, Athens is a drive from the Atlanta Airport. To make it convenient, you have the option to book a shuttle for a direct trip from the Atlanta Airport to Athens, GA(Holiday Inn).

You MUST book between the window June 4- June 25 11:59pm EST. Therefore, you must book BOTH your trip from Atl-Athens AND Athens-ATL if you are planning to get on the shuttle round trip. Attendance Requirements

Collegiates need to fly in and check-in Thursday Night so that you will be ready to attend Friday's morning start. Alumnus and IG's need to fly in and check-in Friday night.

Attendance requirements are based on CEP points, so it will vary per chapter. If you are unsure of your attendance requirement, please contact the Membership Manager[membership@deltaphilambda.org] for clarification.

One member of the AME team must attend convention to receive training.

If you do not meet the attendance requirements, the fee will be the Registration cost per missing attendant.
