We've arranged for CRTEC members to get a "behind the scenes" look at what it takes to deliver broadband, phone and TV on a fiber network. We're taking a lunchtime field trip to Fibrant HQ where Kent Winrich will give us a tour of the facilities, show us how fiber is distributed, show us the 10Gb fiber already in place, and the client who is already asking for 40Gbps service!
He'll talk about expansion of services to other parts of NC, their plans for an incubator, dark fiber build and more!
You won't want to miss this special event. Sandwiches will be provided, so lunch is handled - come and learn about the technology and see what's being done just around the corner from us.
