John Chang will make a return as our keynote presenter at this year's forecast breakfast. The event will focus on the future of real estate in Portland in 2022 and beyond, as we will be joined by an expert panel for a lively discussion on the tenant perspective of the city's downtown.

Keynote: John Chang, Sr. Vice President, Research Services, Marcus & Millichap 
John is a seasoned industry analyst who has been quoted in numerous publications. He is responsible for the production of the firm's vast array of commercial real estate research publications, tools and services. Under his leadership, Marcus & Millichap has become a leading source of market analysis, insight and forecasting, and the firm's research is regularly quoted throughout the industry and in mainstream business media. John oversees a team of dedicated real estate research professionals who produce the firm's more than 1,000 annual market research publications and conference presentations.

Panelist: Monique Claiborne, President & CEO, Greater Portland
Monique Claiborne took the helm at Greater Portland Inc on Feb. 8 after a national search. With international expertise and experience in business recruitment, government and finance, Monique is uniquely qualified to lead GPI into a new era. Before moving to Portland in 2017, Monique worked in Detroit, serving as the legislative operations CFO for the City of Detroit post-bankruptcy and as business attraction manager for the Detroit Regional Chamber. 



Panelist: Lana Baldock, Managing Director, Cushman & Wakefield
Lana joined Cushman & Wakefield in January 2007 specializing in office transactions in the Pacific Northwest. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Ms. Baldock spent twelve years with CB Richard Ellis. She has actively participated in over 1,100 lease and sale transactions representing more than 12 million square feet with gross consideration of over $1.9 billion. Ms. Baldock has been involved in 520 million square feet of ground up developments and has participated in office and office/flex property dispositions with a value of over $100 million.  In addition to representing tenants in multi-markets, Ms. Baldock is currently working on agency leasing assignments in Portland totaling approximately 1.7 million square feet.
