ABOUT LAURA CROWTHER
Laura Stroman Crowther is the Chief Executive Officer for the Coastal Carolinas Association of REALTORS representing over 3,600 REALTOR professionals in Horry and Georgetown Counties. Prior to joining CCAR in 2009, she was the SR Vice President of the SC REALTORS in Columbia heading up their Member Service, Professional Development and Administrative division. She started her real estate career in Florence where she was the Broker/Manager of Century 21 Richardson Realty for 11 years.
Laura is a Past President and REALTOR of the Year for the REALTOR Association of the Greater Pee Dee, received the REALTOR Association Executive of Excellence in 2011 and her REALTOR Certified Executive (RCE) in 2013. She is a graduate of Leadership SC 2007, the Waccamaw American Leadership Forum 2010, served on the NMB, Georgetown Chamber Board of Directors, and on the Francis Marion University Board of Trustees. She most recently served on the MB Regional Economic Development Corporation Board as Secretary.
Outside of the REALTOR organization, Laura’s community involvement consists of supporting the Waccamaw Area Heart Ball, Waccamaw Community Foundation “Food for the Soul” Committee, Boys & Girls Club, Habitat for Humanity, and she was a participant in the Dancing with the Horry County Stars benefiting the BE2/Early College High School.

The CCU Real Estate Club is an initiative of Coastal Carolina University’s Grant Center for Real Estate and Economic Development. It is open to everyone interested in investment, residential and commercial real estate. Speakers will include local and regional leaders, along with government officials, who will discuss a wide range of pertinent topics.
