DESCRIPTION: This special event will highlight leadership lessons learned specifically intended for tactical operators, supervisors, and managers.
PRESENTER: Lieutenant Lee McMillion is a SWAT Commander at the Los Angeles Police Department’s “D Platoon.” Commanding one of the busiest SWAT Teams in the country, Lt. McMillion has participated in and managed countless tactical operations in over two decades on SWAT. Officer Rick Anzaldo has been with LAPD for 34 years and has spent the majority of their careet to SWAT, where they are currently assigned to SWAT as a Team Leader. They will share their experiences and insights into tactical operation leadership and lessons learned throughout their career.
EVENT DETAILS:The event will include dinner and non-alcoholic beverages for all attendees. Following the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to network with the speakers, CATO staff members, attendees from the SWAT Commander and SWAT Team Leader courses, and outside law enforcement attendees. This is a valuable chance to meet team members from other agencies throughout California and beyond, of varying sizes and operational tempos, to discuss important leadership topics to improve operational capabilities.
