2019 BCC HOT SPRINGS/FRENCH BROAD RIVER TRIP
 
 
 
The Birmingham Canoe Club is again sponsoring the Memorial Day Weekend Trip to Hot Springs, NC. The dates are the nights of Friday May 24th, Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th.
 
The rates are $9.00 per night/ per person payable in advance to your trip leader,

Depending on the number attending there will be a minimum of a 2 night charge to maintain the reservations. Also if you sign up, and are not able to attend, I must know 2 weeks in advance to provide a refund/or not charge for the campsites.
 
There are multiple options for paddling including Class I to Class IV water, all within relatively short distances from the campground. If paddling the French Broad or Big Laurel Creek, you are able to paddle to your campsite. There are other activities available in the area including hiking, {AT goes through town}, mountain biking and Asheville, NC is a short drive away.
 
Hot Springs resort also has natural hot springs whirlpool tubs for rent, but reserve early as they book up fast.
