Exchange teaching ideas, experiences, and practices!
Network with other beginning teachers from across the state!
The conference is designed specifically for teachers of mathematics early in their careers, from pre-service to up to five years on the job. Presentations will be given by those early in their careers for those early in their careers and will cover all grade bands: elementary, middle, and high.
Presenters will share their experiences with teaching successful lessons, developing classroom management strategies, creating and implementing rich tasks, and more! We will kick off the day with an overview of what it means to participate in professional conferences.
As a conference participant you will: - Learn what it means to participate in professional conferences and how these experiences can transform your teaching.
- Have many opportunities to learn new ideas and engage in thoughtful discussions during the breakout sessions!
- Network with other early career mathematics teachers across the state.
- Leave with new resources and ideas that can be immediately implemented in your classroom!
