Spring 2014 Greek Preview Day - March 8, 2014
We would like to invite you to attend the Greek Preview Weekend, scheduled for March 8, 2014, to learn about the opportunities available to you at UA through Greek life. We have three governing councils at the Capstone that will be present — including United Greek Council (UGC), Interfraternity Council (IFC), and National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC). While visiting this weekend you will hear from many members of the Greek Community as well as administrators about the advantages of joining a fraternity or sorority at the Capstone. We will guide you through an overview of the recruitment process at UA. You will also get the chance to tour some of the chapter houses and meet the men and women who may one day be your brothers, sisters, and the friends you will have for the rest of your life. If you are coming to the university from out-of-state, or simply not familiar with Greek life, this one-day event will give you a great look at the Greek community and UA’s campus.
Participation in this event is not mandatory for going through recruitment, but would be worth considering in order to see what fraternity life is all about. Your participation will not affect joining a fraternity or sorority in the fall. This is also a great opportunity for incoming students to get to know others and become more familiar with the campus. People you meet during the weekend can answer questions you might have about the Greek Community, fraternity membership or the University that you have not had the chance to ask.
We invite you to join us for lunch, but lunch and T-shirts are optional purchases. You may make purchases for yourself and guests once you begin registration.
