Slices for Sight 2019

Greetings from the sisters of Delta Gamma at Ohio University! We will be holding our annual Slices for Sight Event on Wednesday, March 27th from 5-7pm at our house located at 40 N College St.

We would like to thank you for your participation in our fundraiser benefitting the Delta Gamma Foundation.

Slices for Sight is an event where we host students, teachers and friends in the community to come by our house for unlimitted pizza and drinks for a small price of $5. We have cheese, pepperoni and gluten free pizza availiable. All the proceeds go towards The Delta Gamma Foundation. This is one of the most popular and well-attended events at Ohio University.

"Do Good," our motto since 1873, was penned by our Founders even before the letters Delta and Gamma were chosen. This motto is alive and well in 2019.

Our VISION is to greatly impact the lives of people who are blind or visually impaired. We also look to benefit our members through life enriching educational opportunities, as well as merit and need-based scholarships and graduate fellowships.

Since 1936, our national philanthropy has been Service for Sight. Delta Gammas across the United States and Canada fundraise and volunteer their time (approximately 120,000 hours per year) to assist those who are blind or visually impaired. Five schools for children who are blind or visually impaired have been established by Delta Gammas and continue to thrive to this day. Donations from our fundraising events also assist in the area of grants to organizations which share our Service for Sight mission. We are making a difference!
