Outstanding schools create outstanding communities. The quality of our public schools is one of the top 3 reasons why new residents purchase a home in the Wiseburn community. It's also why students from neighboring school districts apply for an inter-district transfer to attend Wiseburn schools. Wiseburn Unified School District (WUSD) strives for excellence for all students. With top notch teachers, dedicated administrators, and parent and community involvement, students show strong academic performance and engage in innovative learning opportunities. Help maintain this tradition of excellence by supporting the Wiseburn Education Foundation (WEF).
Established in 1996, WEF provides funding for music, arts, STEM, and other valuable educational programs within the WUSD. In the 2017-2018 school year, WEF awarded over $170,000 to Wiseburn schools. This year WEF wants to achieve even more. Donations for the 2018-2019 school year will help to fund:
Performing and Visual Arts Education
Salaries, equipment, materials, and musical instruments
Physical Fitness
Stride Track web-based tracking program for running and Middle School exercise equipment
Innovation Grants
Supplemental funding provided to teachers for classroom or grade-level projects which create innovative learning opportunities
STEM Education
Classroom technology and software to support STEM education,
Coding Programs and Hack-A-Challenges
WEF needs your support to maintain critical funding for these programs and help maintain quality public education in our community. Donations of all levels are appreciated and tax deductible. We encourage parents of students to donate $150 per child...only $12.50 per month. Our goal is to reach 100% participation from every family. Your contribution will enhance student learning throughout the district and support public education- a key pillar for a strong community.
