Why Donate?
Every year we start off the new school year with a projected PTA budget, through which we support art, music, books, technology, field trips, assemblies, supplies, social-emotional programs, community events and more for Sherwood Forest Elementary School. 

This year, we are asking for just $25 per student. As we are slowly coming back from the effects COVID has had on our ability to run events at school, we find that fundraising has been hard as well. We know that this is a big ask, but we want you to know that it’s money well spent.

Giving through our direct donation campaign is the most efficient way to give because the PTA isn’t spending its resources (both time and money) to raise money. Every dollar you give goes directly into supporting programs and initiatives for our students.

For every dollar above our direct donation goal of $7,000 we can reduce our other fundraising efforts. This will allow us to ensure all these great programs for our children.

Direct giving is even better because many employers will match their employee’s donations. So your $100 donation can turn into $200 if you ask your company to match your donation! 

Please also ask family and friends to donate and support your child’s school.

Although our suggested donation is $25 per student, donations of any amount are welcome. Please consider giving as much as you’re comfortable giving, whether it’s significantly more or significantly less as we know that Sherwood Forest serves families from a wide range of socio-economic levels.
