Laurelhurst Park Pickleball Court Fund

Let’s bring pickleball to Laurelhurst park!

Your generous donation will be used to convert the underutilized practice court (north of the tennis courts) into a full-sized pickleball court with a net that can be rolled on and off the court as needed.

In addition, the Laurelhurst community, Seattle Metro Pickleball Association (SMPA), and Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) would like to collaborate to address current and historical disparities between communities within Seattle by raising additional funds to construct two new pickleball and badminton courts at Lakeridge Playground, within a historically marginalized community.

The total cost for the Laurelhurst court and net is $14,315. Any additional funds raised, up to $22,030, will be donated to SPR for the two courts at Lakeridge Playground.

Your tax-deductible donation is being made to Seattle Metro Pickleball Association, the fiscal sponsor and a registered 501c3 nonprofit, and is eligible for corporate matching.

The total fundraising goal is $22,030.
