Dear Olympic View Families,

Our community works hard to make sure our students and staff have what they need to be successful, and we need your continued support as we navigate through our school year routines post(ish) pandemic. This letter marks the beginning of our direct ask campaign, the Flying Forward Fund. All money raised goes directly towards Olympic View (OV). Your tax deductible contribution is vital to helping support and fund:

- Arts Enrichment and Arts Night
- Teacher Classroom Needs
- Family Engagement Activities
- Library Books
- PE Equipment
- Supplies for Multi-Arts
- Grant to Olympic View (field trips, support, etc.)
- After School Program
- And much, much more!

Throughout the year, the Olympic View PTA (OVPTA) spends about $200 per child to help fund OV and the many programs and events that are offered. The 2022 Flying Forward Fund goal is to raise $20,000. We know that this year may continue to be a difficult time for many families and that every family contributes in their own way to our school community, which may not be monetarily. We appreciate all the support!

You can either have your child return the blue envelope they received in Kid Mail with a check made payable to “OVPTA” to their teacher or donate online. Please pass this information on to friends and family who might want to support our school as well. Also, if your employer has a matching donation program, please let them know you donated to OV! Please make donations by December 2, 2022.
