I am a spiritual being, I am black, and I am very queer(Transgender).

For many in the LGBTQ+/Queer community being a spiritual being is quite challenging, you face the consequence of an entire community shutting you out. Our own definition of God and Queer/Gay trying to apply them in our daily lives in hopes of finding common ground between the two is made exponentially harder by a society that finds such commonality is seemingly impossible.

What I'm trying to do by starting this fundraiser to help establish a spiritual connection that's not hindered by sexuality and gender identity but rather intensified by it. The funds will be used to build a space for the marginalized LGBTQ+ youth who have been excluded from our conversations and encouragement. To build capacity within our spiritual communities and ourselves to fully participate as activists in social change.

Support National Youth Pride Services!

Thank you for visiting our donation site! National Youth Pride Services is a creative, urban, intellectual, socially forward movement for LGBTQ youth and young adults in the U.S. as well as interanationally, with active members in South Africa!

NYPS raises 100% of the funds it needs to operate its many programs and activities including, but not limited to:

Life Development. Our Life Development team has the sole mission of improving the quality of life of young people in our demographic. We do this through our Quality of Life Department (that focuses on health, housing and employment), our mandated Self Care Days and our monthly life development series on social media.
The NYPS Network. Our very popular tv network provides more than 10,000 episodes of LGBTQ programming, 24 hours a day and is free to all.
LYRK Music. A streaming platform featuring music from LGBTQ artists of all levels and a 24 hour music station.
Young Leaders Society. YLS is our programing geared specifically to the 21 and under crowd. They will host a Institutue in Chicago this July, where some of the best teens from around the country will spend all most 1 week together working on a new movement.
Travel. NYPS is where many LGBTQ young people expereince their first travel opportunities. In 2018, NYPS will take its first international trip via the first ever LGBTQ Youth Self Care Cruise to the Bahamas and other Carribean Islands.
