Together with Jimmy, we created and founded Miriam's Heart back when we had no help to guide us through our adoption process. We like to say we created what 'we did not have' when we adopted. Now actively standing with families, we continue to mentor and support families to heal and connect, develop and partner with over two dozen area churches and their ministries, and ultimately by doing this well, we advocate on behalf of vulnerable children.

Miriam's Heart has become our personal campaign to educate and equip the church to take action on behalf of orphaned and abandoned children.

Whatever version of the Bible we're reading -  scripture is clear - our lives ought to reflect the life, actions and words of Jesus. Scripture tells us that when faced with the hurts and needs of this world, Jesus' response was this:
To See I To Be Moved I To Take Action
Here at Miriam's Heart, we know that every family is not called to adopt or foster. We also know that we are Biblically mandated to do something about the many children in need. We see the needs of children and families each day. We are moved to compassion as we navigate tough situations with young people who have endured difficult losses and trauma. In response, we #TakeAction to tangibly support children and families. Will you join us?
