The Annual Fund is the McGilvra PTA’s major fundraising effort of the year. By focusing our efforts on one major drive, we eliminate the need for a lot of small fundraisers throughout the year.

We have an ambitious fundraising goal this year: $200,000 (our current year’s budget, plus an additional 5% to account for inflation).  Since we raised $60,000 through the Move-a-thon, our Annual Fund goal is $140,000.

The funds collected directly support student learning by subsidizing our Specialists, Tutors and Art Program. The cost of these programs and services is approximately $900 per student. Without financial assistance from the McGilvra community, we will not be able to continue to support these important positions next school year.
