The Run for Rocky is one of the Mantua PTA’s largest fundraisers of the year that seeks to generate funds that will be injected into the school this year to support enrichment programs (such as the Mantua basketball program, Raccoon Runners, the Drama Club, and Kids Care Club), technology, teacher training, and more!

The Run for Rocky also promotes healthy habits, boosts school spirit and fosters community involvement.

INCENTIVES!!
Students that raise money will have the chance to participate in our Large Gift Raffle! For every $50 they raise, their name will be entered one time into the raffle. Winners will be announced after the completion of our fundraising period on November 4th! New this year, we are also giving all students a chance to win one prize (a NASA telescope), regardless of how much money they did or did not raise.

Additionally, during the week of Run for Rocky, the classrooms with the highest levels of participation will earn a special class incentive from their teacher. Only one classroom winner per day (unless there is a tie) and a classroom can only win once during the week.

To say thank to our teachers for helping us raise funds for the school, we will host a special “teachers-only” raffle. For every $200 that a classroom raises, the classroom teacher will get his/her name in the teacher raffle for two $150 gift cards from Amazon, sponsored by Jennifer Mack Properties. Drawings for those prizes will be after the fundraising period ends November 4th.

October 27 - Run For Rocky Schedule:
            3rd-4th grades- 9:30 a.m.-10:15 a.m.
            K-2nd grades- 10:30-11:15 a.m.
            5th-6th grades-11:30-12:15 p.m.
November 4 – Last day to collect money

SPIRIT DAYS
During the days leading up to Run for Rocky, we’re going to encourage students to participate in Spirit Week!
Monday – NO SCHOOL
Tuesday – Space Day (wear black, blue, or silver, or any space-themed outfit)
Wednesday – Wacky Wednesday (Crazy Hat/Hair/Clothes Day)
Thursday – Spirit Parade Dress Up Day & Run for Rocky
Friday – Pajama Day
