Glen Strathmann
Hello! I participated in my first Law-Enforcement United (LEU)"Road to Hope" bicycle ride from Chesapeake, VA to Washington DC in 2013. It was a grueling 3 day, 250 mile ride but very inspirational and well worth the physical effort. This annual event raises public awareness for law-enforcement officers who have made the "ultimate sacrifice" and were killed in the line of duty. It also provides monetary support for their survivors. Each rider is obligated to raise a minimum of $1500 to offset logistical support. The remainder is donated to Concerns of Police Survivors (COPS) and the Officer Down Memorial Page (ODMP). The current social climate is not always supportive of Law-Enforcement. This event and the LEU members who participate seek to change that. I am asking for donations and sponsorships toward the May 2017 Ride. Any amount would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Glen Strathmann.
