Each May, May 10-12, the Road to Hope Bicycle Ride takes place from Chesapeake, VA for law enforcement and survivors to make their bicycle trek 250 miles over three days to Washington, DC.
The Road to Hope honors the service and sacrifice of law enforcement colleagues and family members who have died in the line of duty.
I will be riding in the 2021 Road to Hope May 10-12th, 2021 to raise awareness and provide monetary support to Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.), the Officer Down Memorial Page (O.D.M.P.), and Spirit of Blue.
In 2016, I rode with fellow officers from my department in honor our fallen officer, Officer Shawn Schneider, who died in the line of duty on 12/30/2011. I learned a lot about Law Enforcement United (LEU) and the programs they support: The Road To Hope, Officer Down Memorial Page, Concerns of Police Survivors, Spirit Of Blue Foundation, and Project Active Armor.
Iโm proud to be a member of LEU and honored to be able to ride in the upcoming ride.
We have raised $650.00 of our $1,500.00 goal
