I ride to honor the service and sacrifice of all law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty and to remember the survivors left behind. During my 23 year tenure with the Winston-Salem Police Department, we have lost three officers in the line of duty and 18 since the department's inception in 1913.

The Road to Hope (https://www.leunited-va.org/the-road-to-hope) bike journey into Washington, DC affords me the opportunity to interact with many of the survivors. During the three-day trek, I am blessed to share in the journey of healing for many of the survivors and to HONOR and REMEMBER their loved ones who paid the ultimate sacrifice.

The money raised during the Roade to Hope campaign helps fund the Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) Kids Camp (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=auObi9UdtsY&t=66s).

Please consider donating to support this journey. If you are unable to donate, please keep the survivors and us in your prayers.

Sincerely,
Lieutenant Christa L. Long

We have raised $1,433.00 of our $2,500.00 goal

The campaign has raised $334,605.24 towards the $850,000.00 goal
