The picture on my profile was taken on July 13, 2009. Mike was promoted to Corporal that day and our family was excited. Adam was 3 years old and he loved his daddy. Just 6 weeks later, on August 19, Mike was shot and killed in the line of duty.
It has been 10 years and the Concerns of Police Survivors (COPS) has been a saving grace for us. Adam attends Kids Camp every summer where he gets to reconnect with 200 kids (ages 6-14) from across the country who are in the same position. They do camp activities like fishing, ropes courses, archery, and other fun things. They also spend time in group counseling so they can discuss the challenges they face living without a parent. It is an emotional week, but it brings healing and hope. We are fortunate that many of the same counselors return each summer and have seen these kids grow. They provide support year-round too.

Law Enforcement United is founded upon and committed to honoring officers who have died in the line of duty, and ensuring that their surviving family is supported and not forgotten.

Our fundraising efforts support The Road to Hope, Concerns of Police Survivors,The Officer Down Memorial Page,and Spirit of Blue Foundation.

Together we will go the extra mile to honor these heroes and help their surviving family members always have the support programs they need to begin to rebuild. We are a group of Law Enforcement Officers, Survivors, and Civilian supporters who have made it our mission to honor the fallen and remember the survivors.
We are 100% volunteer driven organization. We all have full time jobs and families just like you.
Law Enforcement United is our passion, and we hope it becomes yours too.
