Krysia Baron
I've always believed in the mission of Law Enforcement United to honor the fallen and remember the survivors--my husband, Robert, and I were involved with the organization since it's start. Then on December 5, 2013, the unthinkable happened. Robert, who was a Sergeant with the Sandoval County Sheriffs Office, was struck by a vehicle while he was working an accident on I-25. He died of his injuries 30 hours later. Our son, Colter, and I became the survivors and LEU and Concerns of Police Survivors became our lifeline. The money raised by our ride supports several tremendous programs, but the one that's most meaningful to us are the COPS Kids Camp and Young Adults programs for children of fallen officers. The difference these programs have made in our lives is immeasurable and I don't know where we would be without them! Please help kids like Colter heal and grow by supporting my ride on the Road to Hope.
