My 1st why occurred on January 26, 2013 when my partner, Sgt Frederick “Rick” Riggenbach Chitimacha Tribal PD, was murdered on duty. Rick’s family is still an important part of my life and I can't think a better way to honor him and keep his memory alive.
My 2nd why is due to my involvement with C.O.P.S. and gaining a new family; that has brought a special young man into my life. A young man who lost his father in the line of duty, Sgt Paul Stuckey LA Dept of Wildlife & Fisheries on September 30, 2011. With him now being old enough to ride, he wants to go from New Jersey to DC to honor his father and all other Fallen LEOs.
Of course I could not tell him no, so here I am. With my work schedule, I know it will be a challenging task to complete but also know that honoring those who paid the ultimate sacrifice is the reason I still tighten my velcro and pin that shiny piece of metal over my heart each day to go out and protect and serve.

Law Enforcement United is founded upon and committed to honoring officers who have died in the line of duty, and ensuring that their surviving family is supported and not forgotten.

Our fundraising efforts support The Road to Hope, Concerns of Police Survivors,The Officer Down Memorial Page,and Spirit of Blue Foundation.

Together we will go the extra mile to honor these heroes and help their surviving family members always have the support programs they need to begin to rebuild. We are a group of Law Enforcement Officers, Survivors, and Civilian supporters who have made it our mission to honor the fallen and remember the survivors.
We are 100% volunteer driven organization. We all have full time jobs and families just like you.
Law Enforcement United is our passion, and we hope it becomes yours too.
