Welcome Kennedy Families to our 50th Year at Kennedy High School! Kennedy has a well deserved reputation for having amazing parents who support our school and students to make each school year the best! The PTSA needs our Kennedy families to be successful. There are several ways you can be involved.

JOIN! Your support of the PTSA through membership is a critical component of our success. Your membership adds to the strength of this association as we work to provide the best possible academic environment for every child.

Please consider donating to PTSA’s Invest in Your Child Club. Invest In Your Child is the annual fundraising program the PTSA established to give support to the academics at KHS. It is the PTSA’s main fundraiser. Invest In Your Child Club contributes to many of the following academic programs:

Academic Numerals
Academic Letters
Iowa Assessment Recognition
Grade Point Improvement
Senior Awards & Medals
National Honor Society
PTSA College Night
PTSA Senior Scholarships (must be a PTSA member to apply)
KHS Student Leadership Retreat
KHS Staff Funding Requests
Plain Brown Wrapper Magazine

These and other miscellaneous Kennedy programs support the academic success of your children, school and community. Help our PTSA stress the importance of the academic growth and success at all grade and academic levels by making a contribution to the Invest In Your Child Club today.

Your generosity is greatly appreciated and will be recognized in the KHS publications throughout the year. Your donation is 100% tax deductable. In addition, you can double your support through Employer Matching Gift Programs at companies such as Rockwell Collins, Transamerica, Verizon, PepsiCo and Alliant. Please check with your employer to see if they have a matching gift program. They will have a form which is required for you to submit with your donation.
