Greetings from the sisters of the Zeta Upsilon Chapter at Furman University! We invite you to help us Do Good this year by joining us in the fight for sight!
Delta Gamma's Anchor Splash: Field Games event is this Thursday, October 9th and if you're in the Greenville area, head over to E-Field at 2:30pm to enjoy the fun while supporting our chapter! We would love if you could help us raise more donations to our national philanthropy, Service for Sight as well. If you can't make it to the event, please use this page to make a donation!
We would like to thank you for your participation in Anchor Splash to benefit the Delta Gamma Foundation and Service for Sight.
Do Good, our motto since 1873, was penned by our Founders before the letters Delta Gamma were even chosen. This motto is alive and well in 2014.
Our VISION is to greatly impact the lives of those in society who are blind or visually impaired. We have also been looking forward to benefiting our members through life enriching educational opportunities, as well as, merit and need based scholarships and fellowships.
Since 1936, our national philanthropy has been Service for Sight. Delta Gammas across the nation fundraise and volunteer their time (approximately 120,000 hours per year) to assist those who are blind or visually impaired. Four schools for children without sight have been begun by Delta Gammas and still exist to this day. Donations from our fundraising events also assist in the area of Grants to organizations which share our mission Service for Sight. We are making a difference!
