Alexis Lamarche supports this campaign

I’m supporting Anchor Splash, Delta Gamma’s annual philanthropy event, because it brings people together to have fun while making a meaningful impact. Anchor Splash raises funds and awareness for Service for Sight, as well as local organizations that share Delta Gamma’s mission to support those who are blind or visually impaired, including Dogs Inc., Lion’s World Vision Institute, and Tampa Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired.

These organizations provide essential resources such as guide dog training, vision care, rehabilitation, and educational services that help individuals live fuller, more independent lives.

This cause means a lot to me because everyone deserves the chance to experience the world clearly and confidently. Every donation, big or small, helps us make that possible. Thank you for supporting this amazing cause and helping us continue Delta Gamma’s mission to “Do Good.”

We have raised $0.00 of our $100.00 goal

The campaign has raised $38,294.39 towards the $50,000.00 goal

Anchor Splash 2025 - Delta Kappa Chapter

Delta Kappa Chapter of Delta Gamma
University of South Florida
Anchor Splash 2025

Delta Gamma is excited to invite you to our annual philanthropy event, Anchor Splash! Delta Gamma’s Anchor Splash is a fundraising event which is a fun performance in and out of a pool setting. Proceeds will support the programs of the Delta Gamma Foundation. Additionally, Delta Kappa chapter has partnered with Dogs Inc and Lion's World Vision Institute. to help offset the costs of raising future guide dogs for the visually impaired. These donations for Dogs Inc. help with the raising, training, and funding of guide dogs for families in need, free of charge. Located in Ybor City, Lions World Vision Institute (LWVI) is the largest combination of eye bank, tissue recovery, and ocular research center in the world. This philanthropy is special to Delta Gamma because one of our sisters, Ruth Billow, was visually impaired when she was an active member of our sorority.  Her sisters started Service for Sight in order to support her. This philanthropy was made by Delta Gammas for Delta Gammas. We are so proud to continue supporting these amazing charities!

Our philanthropy week will be held Monday, October 20th through Saturday, October 25th. We are hoping to raise more money than ever before with your help and participation! This year, our fundraising goal is $50,000, which is easily achievable with all your hard work and I'm sure we will be able to surpass it!

Do good has been Delta Gamma’s timeless motto since the beginning. This charge continues in 2025 as we work to positively impact our campus and strengthen our community. We believe the pursuit of doing good is never done.

Delta Gammas advocate for a better world for people who are blind or visually impaired through our national philanthropy, Service for Sight. Our women across the United States and Canada fundraise and volunteer their time (approximately 120,000 hours per year) to advocate for and serve this marginalized community.

We educate about sight preservation and are dedicated to providing access and opportunity for people with visual impairments including five Delta Gamma Schools for Children with Visual Impairments founded by members of Delta Gamma. Donations from fundraising events support grants to organizations that share our Service for Sight mission.

In addition, Delta Gamma Foundation empowers our sisters to be motivated women of impact, to grow social responsibility and authentic leadership by funding exceptional training initiatives, and invests in the academic success of our women through scholarships and fellowships.

Please accept our gratitude in advance for your gift and participation. The Delta Gamma Foundation is, by law, a 501(c)(3) entity, and your gift is tax deductible in the United States. The Delta Gamma Foundation also accepts matching gifts for your tax-deductible contribution.

Thank you! Together we are an unstoppable force for good.

✚Eye Glasses Donation
This year we are adding a new way for teams to get extra points! Donating your old glasses to the Lions World Vision Institute can make a life-changing difference for someone in need. Millions of people around the world suffer from poor vision simply because they can’t afford eyewear. Your gently used glasses can be cleaned, refurbished, and matched to individuals who need them, helping them see clearly, often for the first time in years. It’s a simple act of kindness that promotes education, independence, and improved quality of life, all while reducing waste. Give your old glasses a new purpose and help someone see a brighter future.

✚Early Turn in (extra points)
This year we are adding a new way for teams to get extra points! If your team submits the participation fee and list of participants by Friday, October 10, 2025 @ 11:59 pm, your team will earn automatic points! This includes registration, chapter rosters, money, and all waivers for participating members.
