I am supporting Desserts with DG for their work with service for sight. Not only do we do community service working with people on service for sight but we also help raise their awareness. Service for sight is a organization that helps blind people live there day to day lives.

Desserts with DG 2023

Welcome from the sisters of Delta Gamma - Gamma Xi to the Member Planet for this year's Desserts with DGs event! We are so excited to be back with our sisters and even more excited to host this year's event on September 18th at the Delta Gamma Lodge from 7pm-9pm!

Desserts with DG is our annual fall philanthropy event benefiting Service for Sight. Sisters gather together to make thousands of yummy desserts for our guests from the Texas Tech and Lubbock community!

Last year, thanks to our guests and gracious online donors, we were able to raise over $14,000! We were absolutely blown away by the support our donors showed us!

If you happen to be in Lubbock, we would love to see you at our event. Guests can purchase a plate full of desserts for $5. If you are unable to make it in person, we hope you will consider donating online!

Since 1936, our national philanthropy has been Service for Sight. Delta Gammas across the United States and Canada fundraise and volunteer their time (approximately 120,000 hours per year) to assist those who are blind or visually impaired. Four schools for children who are blind or visually impaired have been established by Delta Gammas and continue to thrive to this day. Donations from our fundraising events also assist in the area of grants to organizations which share our Service for Sight mission. We are making a difference!
