Dear friends and family. As you may know, I have been a proud and active member of the Delta Phi Chapter of Delta Gamma for the last two years. This sorority and the programs we fundraise for are near to my heart. My grandmother was a DG at Berkeley and both my Aunt Katie and Uncle Virgil are blind. Our annual Night For Sight Gala raises money for children and their families who are blind or are visually impaired. My aunt and uncle have taught me so much about what being blind really means and how these programs support the children to help realize that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. These programs raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and dreams.

Please help me meet my personal fundraising goals to "DO GOOD" and donate any amount you can. Any donation is appreciated. All donations are tax deductible!

A Night for Sight 2018

Welcome to UCI Delta Gamma's donation page for our fundraising spring gala, A Night for Sight!

We would like to thank you for your participation in our fundraiser benefitting the Delta Gamma Foundation.

Do Good, our motto since 1873, was penned by our Founders before the letters Delta Gamma were even chosen. This motto is alive and well in 2018.

Our VISION is to greatly impact the lives of those in society who are blind or visually impaired. We have also been looking forward to benefiting our members through life enriching educational opportunities, as well as, merit and need based scholarships and fellowships.

Since 1936, our national philanthropy has been Service for Sight. Delta Gammas across the nation fundraise and volunteer their time (approximately 120,000 hours per year) to assist those who are blind or visually impaired. Four schools for children without sight have been begun by Delta Gammas and still exist to this day. We are lucky enough to have one of these schools located right here in Orange County. Donations from our fundraising events also assist in the area of Grants to organizations which share our mission Service for Sight. We are making a difference!
