Greetings from Delta Gamma Beta Sigma at the University of Maryland! Our annual philanthrophy fundraising event, Anchor Slam,  is being held on April 12th, 2026 from 3-6 PM. Thank you for your support of our fundraiser benefitting the Delta Gamma Foundation.

This 5v5 basketball tournament will be held at Ritchie Coliseum and promises to be an exciting and engaging event for our campus community. We invite all Greek organizations to participate in this spirited competition and showcase their teamwork and athleticism. 

In addition, we warmly encourage all members of the UMD community to attend and support the teams as they compete for the championship title.

Do good has been Delta Gamma’s timeless motto since the beginning. This charge continues as we work to positively impact our campus and strengthen our community. We believe the pursuit of doing good is never done.

Delta Gammas advocate for a better world for people who are blind or visually impaired through our national philanthropy, Service for Sight. We educate about sight preservation and are dedicated to providing access and opportunity for people with visual impairments including five Delta Gamma Schools for Children with Visual Impairments founded by members of Delta Gamma. Donations from fundraising events support grants to organizations that share our Service for Sight mission.
