The Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI), is the premier Hispanic nonprofit and nonpartisan 501(c)(3) leadership development organization in the country that educates, empowers, and connects Latino youth by providing leadership development programs and educational services. The nonprofit was established in 1978, by three Hispanic Members of Congress to ensure a diverse and inclusive leadership pipeline and is comprised of Hispanic/Latino Members of Congress, nonprofit leaders, and corporate executives guiding the Institution’s mission forward. CHCI directly impacts the lives of more than 1,700 students and young professionals each year through its fellowships, congressional internships, and R2L NextGen program. Latino Leaders Campaign

DEADLINE TO GIVE: JUNE 30, 2019

The Latino Leader Campaign is a project of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc. to raise funds for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute's (CHCI) R2L NextGen Program. R2L NextGen brings 100 Latino high school students to Washington, D.C. for a week-long leadership development experience where students learn about the federal government, meet important leaders and visit historic sites. Through participation in the program, students are on track to go to college and impact the future of our country. Lambda Theta Phi is looking to raise $22,000 to fully fund the R2L NextGen experience for 10 students, an invaluable experience that can help enhance the life trajectories of these future leaders. Any donation will be helpful in meeting our goal to raise funds for the program and promote early college and political awareness. Please help us in raising funds.
