Hawaiian Way Fund

The mission of the Hawaiian Way Fund (HWF) is to enhance the well-being of Hawai'i through community-based initiatives founded on Hawaiian culture, knowledge and traditions.  Your tax-deductible donation can be designated to any of our Hui Manawale'a (not-for-profit) members.

This past fiscal year (10/01/22 - 09/30/23), the Hawaiian Way Fund hosted several donation campaigns totaling over $7 Million dollars.  These funds help support various causes such as employee workplace giving, education, houselessness, culture and arts and the list goes on.  Our largest donation campaign to-date, Kākoʻo Maui will help to aide the ʻohana impacted by the wildfires in Maui.  Over two dozen CNHA Hui Manawale'a members also benefited from donations designated to their respective organizations.

About CNHA: The Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement (CNHA) is a member-based 501(c)3 non-profit organization with a mission to enhance the cultural, economic, political, and community development of Native Hawaiians. Headquartered in Kapolei, CNHA is a Native Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) certified by the U.S. Treasury Department and a HUD-Certified Housing Counseling agency. We provide access to capital, financial education, and individualized financial counseling services with a focus on low and moderate-income families. CNHA serves as a National Intermediary, providing grants and loans targeting underserved communities in Hawaiʻi.  Visit our website at www.hawaiiancouncil.org for more information.

**A $0.30 transaction fee and a 3% processing fee will be charged by the credit card processor and will be deducted from the amount of your donation. These fees are charged by the credit card processing company and not by CNHA.
