FCSTAC is an influential and effective organization that advocates for family and consumer sciences teachers on issues impacting their programs and curriculum.

Purpose
*To expand and improve public knowledge and understanding of Family and Consumer Sciences programs.
*To actively promote the interests of Family and Consumer Sciences teachers.
*To encourage high standards among teachers.
*To develop and implement a continuous public relations program.
*To advocate and encourage creative leadership.
*To support California FCCLA as an integral part of Family and Consumer Sciences programs.
*To recognize and honor individuals for outstanding contributions to Family and Consumer Sciences programs.
*To cooperate with the California Department of Education and its staff in the development of career-technical education.
