BACK-TO-SCHOOL HOMECOMING ICE CREAM SOCIAL AND DANCE PARTY! Friday, September 29th from 4:00-6:00 pm Salish Coast Elementary Playground Join us on the blacktop at Salish Coast to celebrate the first month of school with ice cream and music. See some old friends and meet some new ones. Good old-fashioned fun for all ages! After you and/or your kids are all hyped on treats, head over to Memorial Field to see the Rivals' 7:00 pm homecoming game!
PTA GENERAL BODY MEETING
Monday, October 16th, 6:00-7:30 pm

(Zoom online option and childcare will both be available. Also snacks!)
The first general body PTA meeting of the year! There will be three over the course of the school year, and they will rotate through the school campuses. Members, member-curious, and everyone else are welcome. Come learn what the PTA is up to and how to get involved. Details, Zoom link, and agenda forthcoming!

NEWSY BITS
Thanks for saying hello at back-to-school night! It was great to see so much interest in the PTA at all the campuses and get to talk with so many families, teachers, and staff. The membership committee was thrilled to see so many people join up. What a great way to start off the year! We wanted to welcome  back teachers and staff to a new school year as well. Thanks to the fundraising committee and the Food Co-op, we were able to bring a nice array of back to school treats to all the campuses. Thank you to everyone who works to support and educate our students in our public schools! We look forward to being able to show our appreciation in many more ways big and small!

Let's work together to make being a part of the Port Townsend school community a multi-dimensionally great experience. How, you ask? There are several ways!
- Become a member (This one is important! A family membership is $25 for the school year, and we offer subsidized memberships if cost is a barrier in any way.)
- Join a committee (This one is also super important! This is where most of the magic happens. We have great committee chairs ready to lead the willing to soaring heights!)
- Make a donation (Always appreciated!)
- Come to a meeting or email porttownsendpta@gmail.com to learn more! (It's okay if you want to take it slow.)
Thank you! The PTA is here to help foster a community of engaged public school families that work together to provide resources and enrichment for our students and schools. We look forward to working together to support all grade levels at all four schools in the Port Townsend School District, as well as teachers, administrators and staff.
