FWGA has some fun and exciting golfing opportunities & learning opportunities starting soon for all levels of players!
We hope you will participate in these fun events!
Ten FWGA Tournaments are planned for this year thanks to our Board Tournament Director, Therese Johnson. The first tournament is at Poppy Ridge Golf Course in Livermore on March 26, 2022. We invite all of you to play in one or all of FWGA tournaments. Please visit our website at www.forewomengolf.org - go to the Tournament Tab, select FWGA Tournament Schedule and sign up for a fun day of golf.
FWGA Twilight golf will begin April 6. This is a wonderful time to play nine holes of golf and socialize afterwards with dinner and drinks. Members will receive a Punchbowl invitation for Twilight golf.
FWGA Clinics will be start on April 2. This is a great way to sharpen our game be it chipping, putting, or hitting that ball off of the Tee. Members will receive a Punchbowl invitation for the clinics.

We are off to a very busy season!!! Notice we are booking 3 TEE TIMES on Monday/Tuesday 18 and on Friday 18 as well. The demand is that High. The tee times fill up fast! Please check the calendar under Casual Play and sign up to host. Also - looks like we have a coordinator for Thursday/Friday 9 hole. Information to follow soon. Look for punchbowl signups. |

I hope you’ve had a chance to look at the NCGA Calendar and events pages and that you found it easy to discover and register for events. There are two registration windows opening in April.
On April 15, registration opens for two very popular events. The PWGA Spring Partners on June 7-8 in Redding CA, and the PWGA Mixed Couple Summer Partners July 11-12 in Reno and Sparks NV. Both events fill up very fast and if you are interested, it is highly recommended that you register on the morning of the 15th.
The “Niners” also open their registration for their series, with the first being in San Ramon on May 25, and another 9 hole event at Greenhorn Creek on June 13.
Play Days for June through July will also open their registration.
Go to www.NCGA.org. Open the Play tab. Scroll down to women’s golf, and navigate from there.

Hi Fellow Golfers!
Poppy Ridge tournament filled up before the deadline. I will be sending out reminders from Member Planet Events so you can sign up from the link provided. As a reminder, signups will start 120 days before the event. I will send the first notification about 2 months before and at least one more about a month before the tournament. Registration deadline is set for 15 days prior to the event as most of the golf courses require confirmation of golfers 14 days before. You can use the Tournament event calendar on the website to sign up for tournaments or click the link when the invite goes out!
We are still looking for two Tournament Coordinators each for DeLaveaga and Peacock Gap. We also need one Tournament Coordinator for Spring Valley. Please contact me to at theresekjohnson@comcast.net to volunteer. We need your help to make this tournament season a sucess!
As a reminder, the tournaments typically cost slightly more than the weekend rate so that we can award prizes for the competitions.
