 Dapplegray Student Council members have been busy since the election in mid-October. At their first meeting on October 25, the students were greeted and congratulated by Superintendent Don Austin. They also selected their leadership board: Cole Paolucci (President); Danielle Fiamengo (Vice-President); Chiara DeGirolamo (Secretary); Jack Bandy (Treasurer); and Jordan Sligh (Historian).  At their second meeting, on November 8, the students learned from Dapplegray Student Council Alum and current Miraleste student Dylan Seiter what it takes to accomplish your goals. They also voted to hold PJ day on December 2 and to support local charity Community's Child which helps mothers and their infants. 
On November 9 members of the student council attended the PVPUSD School Board meeting where they were able to view parliamentary procedure in action and watch a presentation by Mrs. Parsons, Ms. Dunn, and Mrs. Clavadetscher about the unique Arts Alive program that is special to Dapplegray and the importance of arts in our educational curriculum throughout the year.
Tomorrow morning, at the all-school assembly, the student council will be introduced to the student body. And, the Student Council is collecting canned goods to contribute to the Community's Child food bank. Please donate canned goods today!
