MGC Members,
This Saturday is the 20-hole Scramble Guest Day Hamburger Open. A Keg of Beer Crooked Lane's "Lazy Hazy" and shots will be available on hole #10 during golf and at park #4 after golf. Thank you to Beverly and Mark Risso for donating the keg.
The Sports Lounge Bar will be open at 8:15am for your pre-game favorite drink.
After Golf, meet at Park 4 where the Pinesmen will have Hamburgers for the participants.
For Scoring the extra two holes, play hole alternate #9 before hole #9, but combine the two scores and write that number on the scorecard for #9. For example, you score a three on Alternate 9 and a four on #9, you would write 7 on the score card for hole #9. Do the same for Alternate 17 and #17. Play both holes but add the two scores and enter this number on your scorecard for #17.
Use your handicap from the white tees for Saturday April 24th.
Closest to the Pin (CTP) will be on Hole #7 and Hole Alternate #17. To be eligible for CTP, members and guests need to pay $1 to the Pro Shop before tee time. Also, members and guests need to pay $5 for the scramble game.
Teams will all play from the White Tees unless notified by Mark Risso or Duane Heaton. All team members must play from the same tees. Guests with an NCGA Index, use your NCGA handicap for our golf course. Guests without a NCGA Index will be assigned a handicap that with be listed next to the guests name on the tee assignment sheet.
MGC Board is assigning teams and hole assignment. The team assignment and hole assignment sheet will be posted in the Pro Shop and on our website www.lopmgc.org by Friday.
When you get a chance, a large action shot picture has been placed in the Sports Lounge. The picture is of one of our past "MGC Club Champions" and holder of the LOP golf course record, Terry Cross.
