Parent Education Chair Needed!
Each year, the Mantua PTA sponsors two evening parent education events for our parents to learn about topics like positive discipline, how to help with homework, internet safety, etc. The PTA is looking for a Parent Education Chair to work with the counselors to choose the speakers, coordinate dates and send the information out to families. If you are interested in being the Parent Education Chair or have questions about the position, please email Teresa LeMair at teresalemair@aol.com.

New Family Welcome Committee Chair Needed!
As new families join us, and they register in the front office, they get a New Family Welcome Packet that is loaded with valuable information, to include how to get a sponsor family. That family might answer questions like "What are the class parties like?", "Where do I get more information about the enrichment programs at Mantua?", or "What is the Thanksgiving Luncheon like?" The New Family Welcome Chair handles matching up new families with sponsors. In addition, he/she also sets the dates and advertises for our summer playdates for new families, and updates the Welcome Packet each Spring. If you like welcoming new friends to Mantua Elementary, we need you to be our New Family Welcome Chair! Please email Teresa LeMair at teresalemair@aol.com if you are interested in this position.
