3 BIG EVENTS COMING UP IN MARCH AND APRIL
Founders Day - Night of Knowledge & Nonsense - Trolley Run

Plus much more......click on the links to learn more

Dear KC Delta Gammas,

After the craziness of December, the January DG Neighborhood meetings are especially nice. These casual and cozy gatherings are just the ticket – close to home, casual and the little on the agenda except enjoying an evening with DG sisters. Our hostesses were fabulous and we appreciate their hospitality so much! Each evening was different – in KCMO we Stitched n Bitched at Carol Rost’s home (stitch n laugh was more like it, but that doesn’t rhyme), we sampled delicious wine at Wines by Jennifer in Parkville, DGs shared stories at DG Gossip Night at Terri Duncan’s and we enjoyed Soup & Salad at the home of Jen Westlake while doing an easy project for CCVI.

If you live in and around Lee’s Summit – you’re in luck, because Cathy Lemon will be hosting a group on Feb. 6th!

Unleash your inner artist February 8th at the Painted Clover and create an original piece of Anchor Art! Spaces are filling up fast.

It seems impossible that Founders Day is just a month away! Check out the details below and block off your calendar for an inspiring morning with your DG sisters and special guest Elizabeth Alex!

Please take time to read about Night of Knowledge & Nonsense, KCDG’s fun trivia night benefitting CCVI, Alphapointe and the Delta Gamma Foundation! There are plenty of ways you can help make it successful, attending, volunteering or donating! We need all hands on deck to Do as much Good as we can for these great organizations!

In the bonds,
Susan Kastner, Mu

visit
https://www.deltagamma.org/foundation/service-for-sight.

Click on the "do good" logo below to submit your individual service hours. You don’t need to report hours volunteered during a chapter organized event – the event chair will do that for you.

TEAM DG

Once you've registered, you can add more family and/or friends!

Let's try to make this our biggest team yet as this is the Trolley Run's 30th anniversary this year.

DO YOU KNOW????

DO YOU KNOW that CCVI was founded over 65 years ago by our Delta Gamma Alumnae Chapter, the Junior League of Kansas City, and the Kansas School for the Blind (now Alphapointe)?

DO YOU KNOW that during the first year, the school served 8 children who were blind, and 5 sighted peers, and they were taught by one teacher, along with Delta Gamma and Junior League members as classroom aides?

DO YOU KNOW CCVI now serves over 250 children and their families?

DO YOU KNOW CCVI is the only specialized school in greater Kansas City to provide birth through school age services to children with visual impairments, including those with other disabilities?

DO YOU KNOW the 20/20 Club was created to conduct fundraising activities for CCVI, increase community awareness of the school, and provide volunteers, while giving its members an opportunity for personal development and lasting relationships?

DO YOU KNOW becoming a member is easy, and fun? Membership fees are $40, or $70 a pair, and qualify you for free, fun friendraisers, and discounts on events like SPECTACLE, which was $25 less than the ticket price for members.

Click HERE if you are interested in joining the 20/20 Club,
and thank you for your consideration!

Should you need more details about the 20/20 Club, please contact Debbie Link, M, 20/20 Club Liaison, via debbiebertramlink@gmail.com or 816-769-5002.

After a winter break full of fun with family and friends, the women of Mu Chapter are super excited to be back together!

Right off the bat, we have so many great things happening at Mu, and lots to look forward to in the coming months. We are in the middle of Continuous Open Bidding, and are excited about the potential new members walking through our doors!

Also on the calendar are some great sisterhood events, like Zumba?, and we’ve already started planning Hoops for Troops, RAMS, Greek Week, Mom’s Weekend, and Pinafore.

We especially want you to know our Founders Day is Sunday, March 11, and we would love you to join us! It will be held at the Country Club of Missouri, beginning with a brunch at 10:30 am. The cost is $25. Please contact me at MUDGFD@gmail.com if you would like to attend, or need further information.

Hats off to our new officers and directors, as they are already making a huge difference at Mu Chapter! And, thank you to our 13 advisers, and the members of House Corporation, many of whom live in the Kansas City area. They’re support is extraordinary. We also want you to know that we appreciate your alumnae chapter. Whether it is taking the time to read what’s happening with Mu, generously donating to Anchor Splash, or just stopping by for a visit, we truly cherish you. Your chapter is amazing, and your members anchor us all in sisterhood!
