Update and Check-In with our Region 7 PTAs |

Hello, and I hope this is finding you and your loved ones home and healthy! As we all settle into our new normal for the upcoming weeks, I wanted to touch base with all of you to let you know your WSPTA State Board met online last Friday and are working to get some official guidelines out to you all regarding all of the Spring and end-of-year business for which many of you have been asking.
If you haven't seen the last two editions of your Leadership News emails, I recommend you look at them as they have information you may be interested in such as fundraising during this time and links to several resources for activities for your kids. There are also ideas our European PTA (our military bases abroad) has shared. If you're not getting your Leadership News email, check your junk mail or let the state office know so they can make sure you're getting it (support@wastatepta.org). Nancy Chamberlain, our WSPTA Finance Officer, provided a blog post for "Taking care of business through virtual meetings" that has now been posted to: https://www.wastatepta.org/taking-care-of-business-through-virtual-meetings/. Thank you all for your service and support of your communities! You are the helpers! I'm loving all of the creative ways our PTAs are supporting our families and communities. The ways you all are keeping your teachers and students connected is amazing. Feel free to share your ideas and successes with me as I'd love to pass them along.
