This week, we will continue to collect food for Hunger Heroes. The deadline to turn in your Hunger Heroes bags is Wednesday, April 24. Thank you, Raena Hawkins, for our Wednesday night Parent Forum on Technology and Parenting. You provided us with so much valuable information. Thank you, TPA, for organizing our Green Ribbon Week, and thank you to everyone who helped to reduce, reuse, and recycle this week! Soleado's Annual Field Day is scheduled for the morning of Thursday, May 30. If you are interested in volunteering for this exciting event, please provide your contact information on the form below. This event is highly dependent on the number of volunteers; if we do not have enough sign-ups, this event may be canceled. Thank you for making Soleado a brighter place!

Please come out to support our amazingly talented group of Soleado Suns who will be sharing a true variety of talents on the Peninsula High School stage at 6:00 pm on Friday, April 26 in the Performing Arts Center (PAC). The Taiwanese Parent Association did a wonderful job organizing Green Ribbon Week this week. Our students contributed a great amount of bottles, cans, crayons, and markers for recycling. It was a very informative evening.We are really excited about this year’s Main Event Gala – it’s going to be like no other with entertainment featuring "From Classical to Rock." Student News Parent News HUNGER HEROES! Did you know that 1 in 5 children in LA County is food insecure? That means kids in our community go to bed hungry. Children that suffer from hunger, also can suffer from health, development, and learning problems. Community's Child is a local outstanding organization that helped feed hundreds of families and children in the South Bay in 2018. Soleado has decided to join forces with the "Hunger Heroes" program to help win the fight against hunger in the South Bay. We would like to invite you and your family to join us. Your participation is completely voluntary. If your child and family would like to fight hunger for these kids and their families, then please help by filling your black bag (to be sent home with your child) with any--or all--of the food items on the list below: *Brown Rice *Canned Pasta Sauce *Canned Tuna or Chicken *Cheerios Cereal *Whole Grain Cereal *Dry Beans or Canned Beans *Granola Bars, Raisins, Nuts *Healthy Choice or Progresso Soups *Oatmeal or Cream of Wheat *Peanut Butter *Whole Wheat Pasta *Fruit Cups, Applesauce ***NO GLASS JARS OR OUTDATED FOOD ITEMS PLEASE*** Bags with food items are due by Wednesday, April 24th.

Question: How do I change my card to contribute to a different organization? Answer: Just go online at www.ralphs.com, click on Sign In, click on My Account, click on Community Rewards, click on Edit Community Contributions, and then complete the information with your new organization number.
Question: How do I know my card is registered? Answer: After you successfully register your card online, you will see your organization information on your profile page. It’s always a good idea to print this page and keep it for your records. Also, just look on your receipt, and you will see "At your request, Ralphs is donating to your organization name" within 7 business days of online registration.
