Principal's Message
Congratulations to Mrs. Ellis on being recognized as a 2018-19 Palos Verdes Peninsula Rotary Educator of the Year!
Mrs. Ellis has taught at Soleado for 15 years and continues to go above and beyond to take care of her students and colleagues. She is kind, caring, and compassionate and is always looking for new and innovative ways to engage her students in their learning. As a staff member she is supportive of everyone and has mentored many teachers who have joined her on the 5th grade team. I have known Mrs. Ellis for many years, and cannot think of anyone more deserving of this award. The entire Soleado staff is thrilled that Mrs. Ellis has been recognized for her commitment to her students and the Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District.

Thank you to the KPA for putting together such a well-organized Yellow Ribbon Week. We appreciate your efforts to help our children learn to be more kind.

Join us Tuesday, September 25 from 7:45 - 8:15 AM for our first Pancakes with the Principal. Click here for the flyer

Warmly,
Michele Marcus

Carnival Auction items needed...
Approximately half of our Carnival proceeds come from your generous support of the silent auction.

Do you make something or sell a product like jewelry or Arbonne that you could donate? Do you have a skill like organizing or scrapbooking? A vacation rental? Sports tickets?
All proceeds go to support the fabulous programs your children enjoy at Soleado. Please deliver to the Parent Resource Room marked as an auction donation.
