Questions or Comments: | Principal's Message Soleado Families, I hope everyone had a good week at school! Next week, all grade levels will be holding their Back to School Nights, virtually. Teachers will be providing you with information on how to log-in and join. Please see the schedule below, under Parent News.
If your child is in the Distance Learning Academy with a teacher from a different elementary school, your teacher will be contacting you directly with Back to School Night information.
Due to the Labor Day Holiday on Monday and the Minimum Day because of Back to School Night, the schedule for instruction for next week is below:
Monday – No School Tuesday – Full Day of Instruction Wednesday – Full Day of Instruction (No Early Dismissal) Thursday – Full Day of Instruction Friday – Minimum Day (Synchronous Instruction with the Teacher for all students, 8:30-11:15 am.)
School Meal Service Update – ALL MEALS FREE! The district is pleased to announce that beginning Tuesday, September 8th, any adolescent 18 years of age and under may pick-up a FREE breakfast and lunch! This program will run until Winter Break.
Curbside pick-up is Monday through Friday between 7:30 am to 1:00 pm at any of our five secondary sites. No pre-order required!

All meals include a main entree, choice of milk, and seasonal fruit and vegetable offerings.
Parents and guardians may pick up meals on behalf of their child/children. The community-at-large is welcome and adolescents do not need to be enrolled in the district to participate.

PVPUSD After School Enrichment The PVPUSD Elementary After School Enrichment Program is now offering online classes. Booster & PTA News It has been great to virtually meet many new and returning Soleado families! I hope you have enjoyed your summer staying safe and healthy as we all try to find ways to navigate through these unprecedented times. Although school will look different at this time, Soleado’s PTA will continue to strive to make our school a special place for all our students, their families, and our wonderful staff. The PTA Reflections theme this year will be “I Matter Because...” (Click here to watch a video.). This program has helped students explore their own thoughts, feelings, ideas and develop artistic literacy. All entries will be due Friday, October 16th. The PTA Reflections Arts Program will be completely digital this year, and we're excited to announce that the Soleado Elementary Reflections Gallery will join the online galleries of all the other PVPUSD schools for district-wide viewing.
