Hello Sisters!
After a month's hiatus, we are BACK with a Springtime Foundation Focus! With April being National Women's Eye Health Safety Month, I wanted to bring awareness to the sobering fact that women do make up the majority of patients over 40 with vision concerns. Why? We live longer and have more dramatic hormonal fluctuations than men (hello, pregnancy and menopause!). Another culprit can be poor makeup hygiene, like keeping mascara too long! I must admit that I have been guilty of that, too... Keep a lookout for some #FoundationFriday social media posts with more detailed info, or read up here.
Vision Walk!
Virtual Vision Walk is back again on June 12! Join our team by clicking "Register" -> "Join A Team" -> click "Atlanta alumnae chapter of Delta Gamma." It is FREE to join, but boost your impact by setting a fundraising goal and sharing with your friends!
Service Hours
It's time to start thinking about end of year service hours (already???). Please submit your activity, the date(s), and the total number of hours you served to me at Foundation@atldg.org by May 10! Feel free to "guesstimate" the service hours and projects you may complete from May 10-June 30 (the end of the fiscal or DG year).
