Save those Box Tops!!
Box Tops is an easy way to earn money for our school! Just by purchasing Box Tops products, clipping the coupons and sending them into school, we earn cash that can be used to buy anything we need.  Send them to school in a ziplock bag labeled with student's name.   Keep clipping and collecting!  Thank you for supporting Silver Spur!

Welcome Back Silver Spur families!
If you are new to Silver Spur- Welcome to the Bronco community!

I hope everyone had a wonderful summer and you were able to rest, relax and recharge.
We’re off to a great start for the 2019-2020 school year!

Silver Spur is really a special place. We are very lucky to have such amazing administrators, teachers and staff, who create a nurturing, creative and cutting-edge learning environment for our children.

The PTA (Parent Teacher Association) is a non-profit organization run completely by volunteers. We all work together to provide enrichment for our students beyond what is in the regular curriculum. Funds raised pay for programs such as art, technology, field trips, assemblies, the garden, teacher education & training and much more.

Thank you for supporting our fundraising efforts so that we can continue to offer these wonderful programs & experiences for the kids. If you haven’t already- join the PTA. We have been acknowledged for our 100% staff participation and as one of the highest total memberships in the district. Remember, in order to receive a Student Directory, you must be a PTA Member. You can join PTA through the PTA's Online Packet.
Please join us the first Tuesday of the month for our PTA meetings which take place at 8:45am in the MPR.  Our first PTA Meeting will be on September 10th. Dr. Cherniss will be our guest speaker, so please join us. Please RSVP below in PTA News.

I look forward to a fun and rewarding year- see you around campus & at our upcoming events!

Courtney Klink
Silver Spur PTA President

•  Attention All Silver Spur Volunteers  •

All volunteers must have a TB Assessment on file to volunteer on campus.  This is required for classroom volunteers as well as Library, Art At your Finger Tips, Growing Great & Garden Volunteers.

On 1/1/2015 new legislation regarding adult Tuberculosis screening went into effect.  The new law requires a person to submit a tuberculosis risk assessment and if risk factors are identified, would then require the person to submit to a tuberculosis examination to determine that the person is free of infectious tuberculosis.  The forms are available on the PVPUSD website under Health Information.  The completed “Adult Tuberculosis Risk Assessment Questionnaire” certificate of completion (completed by your health care provider) should be given to the Health Office.

If you have any question, please contact Debbie Gregory in the Silver Spur Health Office.

Thank you,
Debbie Gregory
