Hello Silver Spur!
Our annual PTA Reflections program is in full swing and we’d like to encourage you to have your student participate! PTA Reflections is a nationally acclaimed student recognition program designed to motivate artistic creativity in the classroom and at home. Students of all grades and abilities may participate and explore the arts based on the 2021-2022 school year theme. This year’s theme, “I Will Change the World By...” is a question every child can find value in answering through art in any one of six categories: dance choreography, film production, music composition, literature, photography, and visual arts.
Artworks are submitted first to Silver Spur PTA, where they are recognized and celebrated in a gallery-style (online) exhibition. They are judged by a panel of experienced local artists on skill (25%), creativity (25%), and interpretation (50%) of theme within five grade-level divisions. A non-judged Special Artists division celebrates student artists with special needs.
The Reflections is 100% digital. Submissions will be uploaded via a Google entry form and all work will be included in an online gallery.
