Box Tops is an easy way to earn money for our school! Just by purchasing Box Tops products, clipping the coupons and sending them into school, we earn cash that can be used to buy anything we need. Send them to school in a ziplock bag labeled with student's name. Keep clipping and collecting! Thank you for supporting Silver Spur!

Already nearly two months in to school! The weeks are flying by and I hope you are all hanging in there!
As a PTA, we are doing what we can to keep all our Silver Spur Families in mind with every program, activity, fundraiser, and technology enhancement that we plan and invest in. Your PTA Board is being very creative in coming up with fundraisers that are safe and accessible to all, planning fun ways for our kids to connect and enjoy safe holiday celebrations, and providing equal access to online resources such as Reading Counts, REFLEX, and others.
Interested in getting involved? First, please join the PTA via our registration packet on the Silver Spur website. Second, volunteer! We are always looking for people who want to get involved! Did you know we are still looking for someone to Chair Art At Your Fingertips, Military Appreciation Day and International Week? Let me know if you are interested! Because PTA is interested in YOU!

Our days sure look a little different than we are used to, but we can still make it a great day! The choice is ours! Let’s go Broncos!

 We're Watching "Ratatouille" at the Roadium Drive-In!
Join us for a new spin on our Annual Family Movie Night! Join us at the Roadium Drive-In. Pack your picnic dinner, bring your blankets and lawn chairs, wear your spirit shirts, and join us for a unique and fun evening together under the stars! The show starts at dusk and parking spots are first-come, first-served - so get there early!
Tickets are $25/car and can be purchased at www.roadium.com. Tickets are already being sold to the general public, so please purchase your tickets ASAP to guarantee your spot!
After you buy your ticket, please contact Valerie Ungaro at silverspurpta2vp@gmail.com so we can send you a voucher to use at the Roadium Snack shack that night - courtesy of the Silver Spur PTA!

• Reflections - I Matter Because... •
Entry Deadline is Friday, October 16th!
 Reflections 2020-2021 is in full swing! Please encourage your child to explore the artist within and submit an entry for this year's contest theme: I MATTER BECAUSE.... All students are invited to reflect on this theme and create original works of art in the categories of dance choreography, film production, music composition, literature, photography, and visual arts.

 We are excited to announce the 2020 National Red Ribbon Week theme:
Healthy Eating, Healthy Body, Healthy Mind.
During this nationally celebrated week, Silver Spur’s PTA will educate our students through guest speakers (prerecorded specifically for Silver Spur) and live/virtual fitness activities focused on leading a balanced, healthy lifestyle.
We would appreciate your support at home to present a unified and visible commitment toward the creation of a healthy and balanced America.

Friday, October 30th
 Put on your costumes, decorate your car and come drive through our Silver Spur Halloween Parade! Come see your teachers dressed up as you pull through the school drive-thru and collect your Halloween Treats!
All kids must stay in their cars. Teachers, staff and PTA members will be there to greet them and pass out goodies. Please plan to come during your scheduled time slot to keep the parade moving. If you have students in more than one time slot, please choose the one that works best for you!
